Octane Render plugin for Cinema 4D version 2018.1.3-R5.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is this behavior to be expected? I haven't faced this issue with any other renderer. I've also reinstalled Cinema 4D R21.115 to no avail. I've reinstalled Octane, tried the 2020 preview version, and now I'm using the 2018.1.3-R5 version with the same issues. The resulting saved frame has the progress bar in the saved beauty frame. For every frame that I render within Cinema 4D's Picture Viewer or Render Queue, my render itself takes about 15 seconds per frame but Octane holds at 75% for about 30 seconds before continuing to render the next frame.Įdit: I've also had this issue where a frame will render completely but the Octane Progress bar in Cinema 4D's render viewer will not disappear. Octane is a GPU render engine, so it should come as no surprise that when building a system to run it, you’re basically laying down one or more GPUs and then setting up the infrastructure around them to make them run with as much stability and efficiency as possible. I have an issue with Octane Render that I just can't seem to find anywhere else on the interwebs.
